8' x 3' x 6.5'. Bed, frame, fabricated steel, cast concrete, cast plaster, street light, street debris.
Bedside is a sister piece to "Things Happen That People Don't See". It deals with a similar theme - presenting a juxtaposition between public and private - urban and domestic. The streetlamp casts light directly through the cast plaster sewer cover and onto the detritus below, displaying an uncanny merging of two distinct worlds.
