This is a sister piece to "Bedside". It deals with a similar theme - presenting a juxtaposition between public and private - urban and domestic. The viewer is invited to place themselves (physically or mentally) in the vacant impression of the body in the concrete sidewalk inside the tub, putting them under the spotlight in these two contrasting spaces. This sets the stage for an uncanny merging of two distinct worlds.
